Page Type Util Module

The EPiPageTypeUtil module is an EPiServer plug-in for working with page types and properties.

For CMS 6 and older, you can down.gif download the compiled version and the neccessary runtime files. For CMS 7, you need to check out the source code, build and deploy it manually.

See ScreenShots for some examples of the user interface.

  • Copy property definitions from one page type to another
  • Import property definitions from file

Requirements CMS 7

  • EPiServer CMS 7.0
  • Visual Studio .NET 2012 or newer and UnleashIT if you want to compile the source. There is no install for CMS 7, you need to download the source code, build and deploy the tool manually.

Requirements CMS6

  • EPiServer CMS 6.0
  • Visual Studio .NET 2008 and UnleashIT if you want to compile the source

Requirements CMS5

  • EPiServer CMS5 R2
  • Visual Studio .NET 2008 and UnleashIT if you want to compile the source

Requirements CMS4

  • EPiServer 4.60 or higher
  • Visual Studio .NET 2005 and UnleashIT if you want to compile the source

Remarks CMS4

  • If your enviroment is upgraded from 4.60 to 4.61 the property sorting doesn't work as intended due to a bug in the stored procedure netPageDefinitionSave. The FieldOrder is missing in the update part of the procedure. Fix by adding FieldOrder = @FieldOrder, in the SET section of the update part. You also need to sort the properties a number of times to clean the sort index number and make it stick.
