TinyMCEAdapter not picked up when editing LongStrings

Reported by: peter.thornqvist@… Owned by: steve@…
Priority: major Component: WebPartFramework

Description

I have installed TinyMceAdapter as the WYSIWYG editor for Firefox.

Is there anyway I can get the WebParts edit dialog to use it for LongString properties?

The editor is registered using a .browser file.

I am running CMS5 SP1 (.133)

This is a good question. Actually, I'm not sure how the TinyMCE editor is replacing the built-in editor, but it appears that it is doing it in some way that is not compatible with the existing wysiwyg web part.

The best way to do this is probably to create your own web part that host the TinyMCE editor.
